Review of the PlayStation 3 game: “Resistance 3”

I purchased this game because I played the first 2 versions and loved them. Resistance is a first player shooter game and the dialog takes place in the early 1900’s when an alien species attempts to take over Earth.

The campaign in the 3^rd Resistance is not as long as I would have liked it to be. I beat the game in three short sessions. The online gameplay of Resistance 3 is not as good as the previous versions, but is still adequate.

In short I like the game. It was worth the money, but it is not as good as the earlier versions of Resistance.

Netflix

Netflix is a company that offers the services of streaming videos as well as free door step delivery (If you want to pay the extra $8 a month). Netflix has two basic subscriptions, streaming and streaming with delivery. The streaming is around $8 a month and the streaming and delivery is about $16. The streaming side of Netflix does not offer the newest movies, but there are thousands of movies and shows to watch. The delivery side of Netflix offers most of the newest movies. This writer currently only streams movies from Netflix and is extremely happy with the service and extended selection. I watch multiple movies a week and the cost is only about $2 a week; I feel like it is a no brainer, if you watch movies you should subscribe to Netflix.

Premier of Two and a Half Men

The premier of Two and a Half Men reviled how they decided to kill off Charlie Sheen. The end result, Ross Charlie in the shower with another women and then he mysteriously was hit by a train. The writers of Two and a Half Men took their fair share of shots at Charlie and if was clear that they were still upset after the messy brake up.

The series has undoubted taken a drastic turn, I have not devolved an opinion yet if it is for better or worse. Charlie was the life of the show and it may be damaged beyond repair, even for an A lister like Ashton Kutcher.

Review of the PS3 game F.E.A.R. 3

F.E.A.R 3 is a great first person shooter video game. It allows two players to play at once and also permits online gaming (even though there is not a high volume of online players). This game has high definition output and great game details. The frequent use of very strong language, the large amount of violence and gore along with a small amount of partial nudity makes this game suitable for only mature audiences. The biggest downside for this gamer was that my girlfriend and I were able to beat the campaign in a single afternoon, but the additional content has kept us busy for a few weeks without getting bored. I would give F.E.A.R. 3 a rating of four stars out of five.

Quick & Easy Ways to Get Rich Online

I want to start off by saying that there are absolutely no quick and easy ways to get rich without having a unique skill set. If there was an easy and simply way to get rich that everyone was capable of, than everyone would start doing it and that specific product or service would soon be worth almost nothing. Any cite or person advertising a way to get rich quick is trying to scam you. If they held the key to getting rich quick, then they would be spending their efforts getting richer, instead of selling you their product. 

With some hard work there are tons of ways to make money using the internet. Some of these include taking surveys, selling products and advertising. None of these tasks will get you rich quick, but could provide you with an income in addition to your 9-5.

A good survey site is, SURVEYU.com. They only offer a survey about once a week and you will only make about $2, but it is an easy way to make $2 while you are watching TV.

To sell products you would have to set up your own website and generate a lot of traffic. Once your website is up, you can either sell your own products or let others sell their products while you take a commission. This would also require a strong security system and a way to process transactions.

Advertising can be done simply by adding Google AdSense to your blog or YouTube videos. AdSense will send you a check when your account reaches $100.

None of these methods will get you rich quick without putting in hard work, but there is money to be made out their !!

Hurricane Irene as it's Happening

Hurricane Irene was projected to be a deadly and violent storm. While it may have been slightly less deadly and violent than the weather men and women forecasted, Irene did claim the lives of a few individuals and cause some damage as well as power outages.  Irene was supposed to be a category 3 hurricane, but by the time she hit the northern states, but was merely a tropical storm.    

The picture above is about the extent of the damage that Irene did in my area. Only a few knocked down branches and tress, I guess we were luckier than most.

Hurricane Irene is already hitting the east coast hard. Connecticut, Rhode Island, and New York City are among the hardest expected to get hit. The massive storm is forecasted to cause billions and billions of dollars’ worth of damages. Over 2 million NYC residents have been ordered to evacuate the city due to the massive damage that the storm will cause. The storm is unique to the north east because hurricanes typically loss their power in the colder water and become tropical storms. Damages and power losses are inevitable, the only advice I can give to the storms victims is to be prepared.    

Steve Jobs Steps Down

Steve Jobs has put in a lot of hard work into Apple. Today (8/24/11) was undoubtedly a tough day for Jobs as he announced that he is stepping down as CEO because he is no longer able to fulfill his duties. Jobs’ has been fighting medical conditions for some time now and that is likely the reason for his saddening news. Apple has turned into one of the hottest companies under Jobs’ innovating eye. When the street heard the news of Jobs stepping down, the stock dropped 5% almost instantly. I do not believe that this is a rational devaluation and I am a buyer of Apple for the short term because the street will soon realize the unjust drop in price and a large amount of purchasing will push the stock above its closing price before Jobs’ announcement. This correction will happen very rapidly. I wish Steve Jobs the best of luck in fighting his medical conditions.
